Body of nine commonly used materials are as follows:



1. Gray cast iron, apply to work in temperature between -15 ~ +200 ℃, PN ≤ 1.6MPa Nominal pressure of low pressure valve.



2. Black heart malleable cast iron, apply to work in temperature between -15 ~ +250 ℃, nominal pressure PN ≤ 2.5MPa in the low-pressure valve.



3. Ductile iron, apply to work in temperature between -30 ~ +350 ℃, nominal pressure PN ≤ 4.0MPa in the low-pressure valve.



4. Carbon steel (WCA, WCB, WCC), applicable to operating temperature -29 ~ +425 ℃ in between, the high-pressure valves, which 16Mn, 30Mn working temperature between -40 ~ +450 ℃, commonly used to replace ASTMA105.



5. Low-temperature carbon steel (LCB), applicable to the work temperature -46 ~ +345 ℃ valve between the low-temperature valve.



6. Alloy Steel (WC6, WC9), applicable to operating temperature -29 ~ +595 ℃ in a non-corrosive medium between the high temperature and high pressure valves; WC5, WC12 applicable to operating temperature in between -29 ~ +650 ℃ the corrosive medium high temperature and high pressure valves.



7. Austenitic stainless steel, for operating temperature -196 ~ +600 ℃ in the corrosive medium between the valves.



8. Monel alloy, the main medium for the valve hydrogen fluoride.



9. Copper alloy, mainly applicable to operating temperature -273 ~ +200 ℃ in oxygen pipe used between the valve.



Body mentioned above is commonly used materials in the major categories, specific for each type of material, many different grades and different grades also apply to a variety of pressure levels. So, the choice of valve body materials, should be based on different uses and different pressure levels to determine the conditions suitable for the needs of the body material.
